Overview






 

The Network Administrator – Level III – provides high level network engineering design, installation, and support expertise across the full lifecycle of the systems, services, and solutions supported by the Corporate Information Technology team at Seminole Hard Rock Support Services. The primary focus will be LAN, WAN, SD-WAN for on and off premise along with Wireless, firewall, internet connectivity and VPN to a lesser extent, The position requires strong problem-solving, analytical and communications skills as well as deep knowledge of the technologies used.

 

The engineer will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Network team in an environment that fosters cross-training and voluntary knowledge transfer.









Responsibilities






  • Reporting to the Network Architect and Manager
  • Develop network, design, and operational requirements along with testing, and implementation plans for current and new network technologies with internal and external teams
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of technical documents for design, implementation, and configuration
  • Maintain a healthy wireless network with monitoring, availability, and performance to mitigate and prevent future issues
  • Provide support for incidents and service requests (audits; trends; changes, improvements)
  • Provide on-call and critical incident response 24 x 7 x 365
  • Escalate problems to vendors and/or senior management for resolution
  • Support occasional night and weekend activities
  • Participate in the on-call rotation.
  • Travel up to 30%.

Qualifications






  • Hands-on knowledge is a must:
    • Cisco Routers-Switches, Nexus, Catalyst, ISR and ASR
    • Palo Alto, PanOS, Panorama
    • VMWare VeloCloud
    • Load Balancers
  • Possess strong working knowledge and experience in design and implementation for networks in a large, multi-site (100+) enterprise focus on security, availability, resiliency, and performance.
  • Aruba Wireless Hardware, Software Upgrades and Lifecycle Management is desirable.
    • RF Planning (i.e., Aruba AirWatch).
    • Wireless Configurations and Standards.
    • Wireless documentation and diagraming skills.
    • Wireless Authentication.
    • Aruba ClearPass Configuration and Management.
    • Client Certificates and 802.X protocols
    • Single SSID On Ramping experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science and/or 10+ years of experience is required.
  • CCNA Certification and Aruba Certification a plus
