What You’ll Do

Surgical Excellence:

• Provide expert first-assist support during surgical procedures, including robotics GYN, urology, OB, spine, and orthopedics.
• Assist with patient positioning, maintain a sterile field, anticipate surgeon needs, and collaborate seamlessly with the OR team.

Pre- and Post-Operative Coordination:

• Confirm cases, meet patients, explain procedures, and ensure necessary documentation is in place.
• Assist with patient transfer and provide handovers to PACU staff while completing all required documentation.

Continuous Growth:

• Participate in clinical and operational improvement projects, such as training, education, and process enhancements.
• Expand your skill set by learning new surgical specialties.

What You Bring

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years as a Surgical First Assist with robotics experience in GYN, urology, OB, spine, and other specialties.

Education & Certification:

• Graduate of an accredited PA, NP, RNFA, or CSA program.
• Current state license where practicing and relevant national certifications (e.g., NCCPA for PAs, CNOR or RNFA for NPs).

Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office and EMR systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse OR environments.
