Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) - Equity Trading Technology

The Equity Trading Technology organization is seeking a skilled SDET to join the Trade Flow Access (TFA) Team in our Miami office. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing automation suites for back-end services, developing and maintaining automated scripts to ensure continuous build process, application deployment and environment setup within on-premises and cloud infrastructures. As an automation engineer, you will be working hand in hand with the QA and back-end java developers to ensure established services are thoroughly tested prior to deployment in production.

Role and Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and optimizing automation suites for back-end services
• Developing and maintaining automated scripts to ensure continuous build process
• Application deployment and environment setup within on-premises and cloud infrastructures
• Working hand in hand with the QA and back-end java developers to ensure established services are thoroughly tested prior to deployment in production

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 3+ years of hands-on automation experience and API testing experience
• Strong experience in Java programming
• Experience in working in Linux environment
• Experience in working with different databases
• Basic SQL knowledge
• DevOps experience (Jenkins, AWS, Docker)
• Experience in system, system integration, regression, end-to-end, and parallel testing
• Experience in test environment and test data setup
• Strong communication skills and positive attitude

Nice to Have

Understanding of equity trading or financial systems is a plus but not required.
