As a Software Developer at Vendasta, you will be an integral part of a dynamic development team working to design, build, and maintain software solutions that solve complex problems and deliver exceptional value to our customers. Depending on your level of experience, you’ll take ownership of tasks, mentor teammates, and contribute to shaping the technical direction of our platforms. Your Impact

As a Software Developer at Vendasta, you’ll work alongside Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to:

• Deliver high-quality, maintainable software that meets customer and business needs.
• Design and develop scalable, performant systems that evolve with our platforms.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to uphold the highest engineering standards.
• Collaborate in agile sprint ceremonies and team retrospectives, driving continuous improvement.
• Contribute to shared tools, libraries, and frameworks to benefit the broader organization.
• For senior-level developers: Mentor and onboard less experienced team members, lead technical initiatives, and guide architectural decisions.
  

What You Bring to the Table

We are looking for developers of all experience levels who are eager to learn, collaborate, and make a difference. Depending on your background, you bring:

Must-Have:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Golang, Python, Java, or JavaScript (or similar).
• Familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to diagnose and resolve software issues.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience leading technical initiatives or contributing to architectural decisions.
• A track record of mentoring teammates and fostering a collaborative culture.
• Contributions to shared libraries, frameworks, or process improvements.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices or experience with CI/CD pipelines.
