Description

This position is for an experienced C/C++ developer. As a member of this group you will design, develop, and debug high performance, multi-threaded and distributed C, C++ code in the Exadata project.

Oracle Exadata is the backbone of the Oracle database in the public and private cloud. A large section of the Oracle Public and Private Cloud runs on Exadata. Most of the Oracle Cloud Database services run on Exadata. Oracle Autonomous database runs on Exadata. Most Oracle Cloud Apps run on Exadata.

Exadata provides the best parallel, distributed platform for the Oracle database. Exadata integrates with the database SQL processing and distributes and parallelizes query processing across all the storage nodes.

Exadata is a capable OLTP platform, providing extremely fast block IO and extremely high IOPS.

Exadata Exascale rearchitected Exadata to create a multi-tenant, consolidated universal storage, that can run everywhere – on-premises, private cloud, public cloud. We can run high performance databases, volumes, clustered file systems on Exadata Exascale storage. The Exascale project is expanding to cover more cloud storage use cases, and we are looking for talented system engineers.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

US: Hiring Range: from $74,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
