Software Developer

As a Software Developer for CleanFleet & Glostone Trucking Solutions, you will be a part of a growing development team that implements transportation compliance software for internal staff and clients. At the core of your role, you will be working directly with the CTO & CEO to refactor monolithic legacy systems into a microservice architecture with multiple logical and physical layers. You will be exposed to a wide range of design principles and concepts such as MVC, Domain Driven Design, Publish / Subscribe Pattern, and microservice architecture. You will primarily work independently day-to-day on tasks. However, you will be communicating with your colleagues to ensure your tasks work with other parts of the system. A crucial part of communicating with your team members is documenting your code in a clear a concise manner. As you develop, you are excited to how your part helps improve safety in transportation, and it’s this excitement that fosters your eagerness to learn how to make our systems better.

As a baseline, you can demonstrate the following qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio
• Expertise in one or more .NET programming languages
• Knowledge of one or more design principles and concepts described above
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Ability to self-motivate
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate technical concepts in simplified terms

• 3+ years in software development is preferred

Based performance on the job and experience, this position offers opportunities for employees to expand and grow within the companies. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Occasional overtime will be required, based on business needs. Starting rate for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 per year based on experience and skill set. Job offers are contingent upon passing a background investigation and a drug test that includes testing for THC.
