Description

Oracle Health is building exciting cloud technologies that are modernizing healthcare. The Cloud Engineering team is looking for a senior software developer that will contribute to feature development for new automation platforms. These platforms will provide a paved path for provisioning Oracle Health resources in OCI (such as IAM and Networking). Your contribution will ultimately increase the speed and scale at which we deliver healthcare around the globe.

The ideal candidate will have experience building applications on major cloud provider and shipping them to production. You should have strong experience with software development and be able to deep dive into technical concepts. You've operated production services and understand how to make them more resilient. You should value simplicity and scale, be comfortable working in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field involving coding or equivalent practical experience
  • 3-5+ years of total experience in software development
  • Demonstrated ability to write code using Java, Python, C++, or similar OO language
  • Experience building backend software such as API's, database programs, scripting
  • Experience operating in a major cloud provider such as OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Proven ability to deliver software with the full software development lifecycle
  • Strong design skills for building secure, highly scalable, and resilient systems
  • Comfortable in a collaborative, agile development environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) languages such as Terraform
  • Hands on experience configuring IAM policies or network policies at scale
  • Experience building frontend software with Javascript or HTML

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
