Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Position requires:
1. Java optimizations and design patterns to develop highly scalable cloud native Microservice applications, ensuring robustness, efficiency and adaptability to meet evolving business needs;
2. Leverage expertise in REST API development to design, implement and optimize RESTful interfaces, facilitating seamless communication and interoperability between microservices;
3. Agile software development methodologies, actively participating in iterative development cycles, refining user stories, practicing continuous integration and delivery;
4. Build automation tools like Maven and continuous integration platforms such as Jenkins to streamline the development workflow, enhance code quality, and accelerate delivery timelines;
5. Employ bug tracking tools like JIRA to effectively manage project tasks, streamline collaboration and ensure timely issue resolution;
6. Leverage standard version control systems like Git, DevOps tools including Kubernetes to automate deployment processes, enhance system monitoring and observability, and maintain
infrastructure scalability and reliability;
7. Drive innovation by resolving intricate technical issues, implementing enhancements, and introducing novel solutions to improve performance, resiliency, scalability and relevance;
8. Software project management methodologies, quality assurance techniques, and advanced software design patterns, requirements engineering, software maintenance and software
process improvement practices.
