HarperCollins Christian Publishing is looking for a fully remote senior mobile app developer with an emphasis in React Native to serve as the main developer on apps for Bible Gateway and Jesus Calling, with millions of monthly users. This role involves maintaining and improving existing codebases, implementing new features, and ensuring app stability and performance while collaborating with a small team of developers and stakeholders. Knowledge:
2-4 years of experience with React Native.
Areas of Exposure/Experience:
Work Experience: 5+ years of programming experience. A portfolio or record of successful app delivery is a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with platform-specific user interface patterns and trends. Familiarity with Bibles and Bible study is a plus
Skills:
The salary range for this position is $120,000-$145,000. We recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company. The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
