Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization - Health Data Intelligence Platform. As part of this organization, the Real-World Data development team builds de-identified data products used for clinical research.  This is a net new line of business, constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative environment. Responsibilities
  • We are seeking an experienced leader who enjoys building/maintaining complex, highly technical products and services.
  • Working with leadership, senior engineers, program managers, and product managers to develop compelling products and services that meet customer needs.
  • Delivering projects on-time with the high quality.
  • Raising the bar for product quality and customer experience. 
  • Establishing and developing the team capacity needed to execute on the product strategy.
  • Able to work on multiple technologies and switch gears based on the business needs.
  • Overseeing operational reviews and action plans
  • Leading sprint planning and delivery
  • Successfully leading a geographically distributed team.
  • Providing technical leadership, direction, and guidance for the existing team.
  • Conducting performance appraisals for direct reports.
  • Mentoring and developing junior engineers to senior levels.
  • Providing constructive feedback to team members and other stakeholders. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
  • 12+ years of experience in the software industry with 3+ years in Engineering Management leading agile teams on design, development, and delivery of highly scalable products.
  • Knowledge of software engineering standard processes across the development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Exposure to the process and nuances of operationalizing and supporting products and services used by thousands of customers simultaneously.
  • Ability to create, drive and evangelize cross-team processes and achieve org-wide impact. 
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate a vision and get people invested in success. 
  • Ability to interact with clients and a passion to help them succeed.
  • Strong, demonstrable track record for hiring and retaining top-tier talent.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with major cloud providers (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud)
  • Familiarity with technologies and design concepts around Big Data Processing and Relational Databases such as: ETL, Hadoop, Spark

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $107,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
