The Position:
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our roster and play a pivotal role on the Product team. Reporting to the VP, Engineering, this position will lead the development of our Grandstand streaming platform. In this role you will drive the implementation and optimization of our DevOps practices and processes. 

The Game Plan:
(What you will do)

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient CI/CD pipelines for various applications.
  • Ensure the automation of build, test, and deployment processes to achieve a streamlined and efficient release cycle.
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
  • Work with Docker and Kubernetes to containerize applications and manage orchestration for scalable and resilient deployments.
  • Optimize containerized workloads for performance and resource efficiency.
  • Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive measures.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices for infrastructure, applications, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing within the team and organization.

The Stats:
(What to bring)

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps or a similar role, with a strong focus on automation and infrastructure as code
  • Proven experience as a senior DevOps Engineer, with a focus on designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
  • Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools.
  • Extensive experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of IaC principles and tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and networking concepts
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog or Splunk
  • Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing them in a DevOps environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

The base salary compensation range for this role is $185,000 - $200,000.  Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
