DUTIES: Responsible for working in conjunction with the VP of Sales and technical team to target the right clients, grow a quality pipeline, win profitable deals, and manage sales activities with the objective of creating mutually beneficial, trust-based relationships that create value towards meeting or exceeding an assigned annual revenue quota. Specific duties include: 1) Leading technical sales cycles, performing lead generation, qualification, discovery, factory walk-throughs, solution concept development and validation, and negotiating and closing deals - both onsite and remote; 2) Developing relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at new and/or existing clients to protect and grow the business; 3) Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget; 4) Providing technical support to customers, during and after the sales process; 5) Acting as point of contact for resolution and escalation of all key items with the client and internally; 6) Enabling visibility into business through effective tracking of account activity, opportunity management, and collaboration with internal managers and stakeholders; 7) Collaborating in marketing activities required to exceed an assigned annual recurring revenue quota; 8) Continually researching the best technologies in robotics and automation; 9) Partnering with peers inside and outside Telamon to solve operational problems to Telamon’s advantage and customer satisfaction; 10) Ensuring all department standards and procedures are followed in an effort to meet or exceed global customer and industry requirements; 11) Utilizing appropriate online tools to keep team abreast of customer status; 12) Consulting with existing and potential clients to assess and understand equipment needs and systems requirements; 13) Drafting or assisting with the preparation of presentations and other documentation and materials that explain products and services to customers; 14) Providing expertise and support to sales teams to communicate products, services, and client needs; 15) Ensuring that customer needs are met, which may include product modifications; 16) Proposing improved materials or products to customers and explains benefits of changes; 17) Providing support to customers and resolves problems with installed equipment; 18) Preparing product orders and schedules deliveries; 19) Assisting with research and development of new products; and 20) Performing other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Operations Engineering, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related experience. Must also have 3 years of experience with each of the following: (1) Providing technical/quality support to industrial customers delivering fast and effective production/quality/engineering solutions; (2) Supporting industrial sales teams in drafting LTAs; (3) Reviewing products price, market trends, and demand forecast analysis for manufacturing industry; (4) Serving as a technical and account manager for industrial clients, including visiting customers, responding to quality issues, defining method/gages, and organizing quality inspection processes; and (5) Coordinating engineering, quality, and logistics teams on the development of manufacturing processes of products.
