Responsibilities

The Hamilton Robotics Sales and Product Specialist for Australia/New Zealand is a key member of the commercial team and owns and exceeds the revenue target in the defined territory.Β If you enjoy the challenge of achieving and exceeding your revenue target while working in a supportive environment that values and rewards top-notch performance, come join us!

  • Create a territory plan that will meet and exceed annual territory targets.
  • Execute the territory plan:
    - Sell.
    - Identify and create action plans in conjunction with the Product Marketing team to penetrate new customer accounts and adjacent markets in territory.
    - Develop strong relationship with Hamilton customers to expand account adoption of Hamilton products.
    - Prospect and develop new accounts in territory.
    - Provide product expertise and assist sales in ANZ region when needed.
  • Keep HubSpot CRM up-to-date.
  • Provide accurate forecasting to Regional Sales Manager and the Regional Sales and Operations Manager.
  • Understand and clearly present the value proposition our business unit brings to our target customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel at least 75% of the time with no restrictions.
  • Ability to control expenses and time management to meet budget guidelines and productivity expectations.
  • Demonstrated collaborative relationships with other team members.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in owning a territory.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • Experience with sales of manual and automated laboratory equipment and solutions.
  • Minimum of two years of life science instruments and consumable sales experience.
