Robotics Field Agent

ROBOWORX/ARO is looking to hire a Robotic Field Agent/Level II in the Chicago area.

Seeking candidate for field position in Robotic Support and Service. Role involves installations, support, service, troubleshooting, training customers, training and supporting level 1 field technicians, and ensuring overall client success and adoption of customer’s autonomous solutions. Ideal candidates will have an understanding of mechanical and electrical devices and high attention to detail. They should be able to travel on short notice to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues of products at customer locations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Work with partners and leadership to install and support robots at client locations. This can include coordination of shipping, unpacking, inspection, assembly, set up, mapping, and training of customer staff, as well as ongoing scheduled preventative maintenance visits and unscheduled break/fix visits if necessary.


• Travel is a must. Able to travel frequently and on short notice.


• Forge and Maintain client relationships assuring top level customer service.


• Reports and communicates effectively to Management.


• Ability to train and re-train customer staff during scheduled preventative maintenance visits.


• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and provide resolution.


• Operating of power and manual tools


• Safe use and care of equipment


• Run diagnostics on robots and identify any issues.


• Maintaining and cleaning of robots


• Recommend operational and efficiency improvements to customer. Proactively approach to customer success and user adoption of robots.


• Perform preventative maintenance on products in the field at customer locations


• Troubleshoot and repair product issues onsite at customer locations


• Perform tech reviews of potential client robots and make recommendations for Maintenance
