ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS BY LEVEL:

• Provides consulting services to members of the professional staff and to the customer in the analysis and design of data processing systems, management systems, scientific systems, and other related areas
• Makes technical decisions on kinds of data to be gathered and methods to be used in data collection and analysis
• Analyzes, diagnoses, and recommends solutions to complex problems
• Makes technical decisions on kinds of data to be gathered and methods to be used in data collection and analysis
• Leads technical direction, guidance, and assistance to assigned projects, suggesting efficient approaches and methods for solving problems
• Provides technical leadership for the integration or requirements, design and technology
• Ultimately responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverable
• Operate, maintain, and administer existing network architectures, including hardware and software.
• Provide network device operation and maintenance.
• Monitor, maintain, and report on network and system performance.
• Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting and root cause analysis and benchmarking via established procedures.
• Provide Network administration services.
• Create and maintain network diagrams and network administration documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Provide system operation and maintenance.
• Provide basic and advanced systems administration services to include but not be limited to Tiers 1, 2 and 3 support of Network Storage and Compute environments.
• Create and maintain documentation with updates to system configuration made completing required changes and fixes.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance of all system hardware, and software.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent related experience
• ITIL v4
• IAT Level II Certification 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED BY LEVEL:

• V: 13+ Years 

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• SQL
• Windows Server 2016/2019
• VMware
• Linux

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:

• Sitting for long periods
• Standing for long periods
• Ambulate throughout an office
• Ambulate between several buildings
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required
• Repeatedly lift and carry weight up to 25 pounds
• Travel by land or air transportation 15%
