POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for serving as a technical lead accountable for higher-end assignments and queries. In conjunction with providing support for hardware, software, and network-related issuesThe positiowill give support and guidance to Tier technicians.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist in maintaining the stability and security of the SSMC network, addingremoving, and modifying user access and permissions.
  • Deploy and Support SSMC Yiltual environments.
  • Configurationservicingmodificationand replacement/updating of most IT-related PC hardware.
  • Provide virtual and in-person user support for hardware, software, and network-related issues (this will involve travelinto other office locations),
  • Conducting/monitorinbackup processes and storage requirements.
  • Help engineer, document, and implement network and systeprocesses and procedures that meet SSMC's needs.
  • Clearly documenting and updating technical specifications and infrastructure requirements for self-producetechnical work and job processes.
  • Work witvendorto resolve software and hardware issues.
  • Ensure that helpdesk tickets are closed or escalated promptly.
  • Effectivelprioritize and execute tasks as assigned by management.
  • Monitor Tier levetechnicians and assiswith higher level issues.
  • Monitor changes and/or advancements itechnology to improve productivity and company efficiency.
  • Assist in analyzing the costs, value, and risks of tasks, products, etc., to advise leadership and suggest actions.
  • Lead collaboration among team to execute system upgradesupdates, and enhancements.
  • Contribute to company development meetings improving policies and work functions.
  • Assist in the creation, implementation and maintenance of disaster recovery processes and standards.
  • Act as a member of the Windows Active Directory Domain Administrator Support Team by providing support to assigned operations.
  • Troubleshooting ESXi issues related to storage, network and performance issues. 
  • Carry out other duties aassigned by management.

 

 

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in computer sciencor IT related field with minimum of 3 years' or more of related computer experience along with management of an IT department.
  • Certification or familiarity in YMWare and or NetAPP appliances/systems.
  • Familiar with Office 365 Administrative tasks.
  • Familiar with implementing and troubleshootinDrafting software/licensing.
  • Familiawith Survey or Engineering Istandards.
  • Familiarity with Umware and San storage preffered
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting skills regarding hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Good interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with users and vendors. This includesbut is not limited to, communicating with users to keep them informed of progresschanges/updates, or agreed outages.
  • Must be team playerindependentproactive, and possesexcellent problem solving, oral and written communication, and organizational skills.
  • Abilitto work effectivelboth withiteam and independently to solve issues
  • Experience in dealing with sensitive information.
  • Willing to traveto other office locations.
  • Requires minimal supervision.
