Analyzes and simulates network traffic to aid in problem resolution or to test updated configurations in virtual or physical lab environments.
Monitors system utilization and circuit bandwidth then reports anomalies to Government team leads.
Develops, executes, modifies or removes scripts to assist in automation of tasks.
Reviews and documents all workload activities per incident or change request to eliminate rework or for auditing/investigation purposes.
Ability to work with a deep level of understanding/experience with enterprise level network architectures/configurations is required and Software Defined Networking (SDN) is desired.
Notifies appropriate Information Technical Equipment Custodian (ITEC) or Property Custodian (PC), in writing, within 4 hours for all accountable item moves.
Neatly bundle and conceal all excess system or peripheral cabling after each installation or repair.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED.
7+ years’ experience with installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches. Must have at least one of the following:
CCNP Collaboration, CCNP Data Center, CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Service Provider.
Must possess a Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
