Analyzes and simulates network traffic to aid in problem resolution or to test updated configurations in virtual or physical lab environments.
Monitors system utilization and circuit bandwidth then reports anomalies to Government team leads.
Escalates complex network issues to Senior Network Administrators. Develop, execute, modify or remove scripts to assist in automation of tasks.
Reviews and documents all workload activities per incident or change request to eliminate rework or for auditing/investigation purposes.
Notifies appropriate Information Technical Equipment Custodian (ITEC) or Property Custodian (PC), in writing, within 4 hours for all accountable item moves.
Neatly bundle and conceal all excess system or peripheral cabling after each installation or repair.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED.
5+ years experience with installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches.
Intermediate level understanding/experience with Enterprise network architectures and configurations is highly desired.
Must possess a Secret Clearance.
Must have at least one of the following:
CCNP Collaboration, CCNP Data Center, CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Service Provider

CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure, CCIE Service Provider, CCIE Data Center, CCIE Collaboration
Deep level of understanding/experience with enterprise level network architectures/configurations is required and Software Defined Networking (SDN) is desired.
