Lead a developers team, Oversaw all aspects of team building, including hiring, training, mentorship, and professional development
Coaching and mentoring team members to optimize performance, facilitate career growth, and support personal development
Drive the activities of application development scrum teams delivering innovative features for customers in key markets outside the United States.
Co-ordinate the analysis, design, programming, debugging, and improvement of high-quality Workday product(s)
Actively contribute to development by performing hands-on tasks such as customization, configuration, etc.
Engage with Development, Product, QA, Automation, Research/UX, Agility, Doc-writing, and Customer Support colleagues - and with Workday customers - to identify, discuss, debate and ultimately solve customer issues in increasingly innovative ways
Understand and promote industry-standard methodologies
Personify and promote the Workday values of Employees, Customer Service, Innovation, Integrity, Fun, and Profitability
About You
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years in a similar role, managing global teams in a delivery-focused environment.
6+ years of experience with design and development in Python
3+ years of experience developing applications using Cloud-based technologies
Experience with leading global groups and team leads in a software development context
Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent work experience
Experience supporting team members career growth and development
Other Qualifications:
Proven track record in implementing process improvements in a development setting.
Experience working in a delivery organization, with a focus on building solutions for corporate clients within predefined timelines and budgets.
Demonstrated ability to present strategic initiatives to senior leadership effectively.
Process-focused mindset with a strong problem-solving ability.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, process-focused environment, adept at problem-solving under pressure and adaptable to ongoing changes in project scope and direction.
Experience in ERP application development is a plus
Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills in English
