Program Overview

ICIC is the discovery and implementation partner for a (to-be-announced) national Artificial Intelligence program that aims to make AI more accessible for small businesses. This effort, in collaboration with a corporate partner, will help entrepreneurs by providing them with the resources and tools to effectively leverage AI to improve operational efficiency and overall business outcomes. Program development, which is ongoing, will leverage data gathered from focus groups and a nationwide survey that ICIC conducted to gather information on small businesses’ usage and impressions of AI. The program is slated to roll out in 2025 with a series of in-person events and other engagements across the country.

The AI Program is housed under ICIC’s Data Strategy & Innovation (DSI) department, which is principally responsible for developing, launching, and incubating strategic new programs and initiatives at ICIC.
