Job Description:
This job is responsible for assessing the bank's technologies, applications, and overall security controls to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities that may impact Bank of America's information security. Key responsibilities include developing a better understanding of Bank of America's Global Information Security policy and relevant cyber security threats to complete security assessments. Job expectations include developing technical subject matter expertise to support partners, and adapting testing methods to emerging cyber security regulations and evolving threats.

Position Summary
Primary role of pre-assessment coordinators –
- Be able to scope any application for any type of ADSF assessment.
- Work directly with application managers and risk partners to gather information necessary for application security assessments for the purposes of scheduling, engaging, follow-up, and escalation.
- Data gathering of application requirements (scope – approx. 500+) – follow-up, escalation if required to Team Manager and other Leadership contacts.
- Requirements include gathering pre-requisite information, validating the information, facilitating demo’s of applications in scope for application security assessments with Application Managers, and Application Assessor and working with the application team to get the assessors access provisioned.
- Attend and provide bi-weekly status updates to team (management routines).
- Managing of requests for new assessments (ah-hoc request for application assessments across the enterprise).
- Management of projects related to larger engagements (multiple, simultaneous assessments of application groups).
- Work directly with line of business partners, information security officers and others to understand technical and business needs as well as addressing any concerns
Qualifications:
- 2 + years experience in Information Security - (familiarity w/ application/vulnerability assessments)
- Foundational background in IT.
- Ability to communicate and explain technical concepts to Technical and Non-Technical business and application owners.
- Executive presence with both internal and external stakeholders. Ability to communicate professionally over email and by phone.
- Excellent project management, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy with dedication to superior service.
- Advanced Knowledge of MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, SharePoint and Word
- An excellent presence with both internal and external stakeholders. Ability to communicate professional over email and by phone.
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities; Able to develop and convey a point of view
- Ability to think strategically and execute against a strategic plan
- Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude. Able to thrive in a dynamic team environment

Pay and benefits information
Pay range
$95,000.00 - $143,700.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
