Full Stack Developer

JOB SUMMARY: The Full Stack Developer is responsible for building and maintaining our asset management solution for Chromebooks in schools.  The Full-Stack Developer has strong experience with NestJS, Node.js, and front-end technologies.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain server-side and client-side applications using NestJS and modern front-end frameworks
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive user interfaces
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions
• Participate in backlog grooming sessions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Update code to latest releases to patch security issues

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a focus on Node.js and NestJS
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks
• Experience with GitLab for version control and CI/CD
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and AWS is highly desirable
• Knowledge of database technologies and RESTful API design
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Remote work is acceptable, with less than 10% travel for team meetings and conferences
• Must be available during core hours of 11 AM to 3 PM Eastern Time
