Full Stack Developer

Location: Hybrid, with 1-3 days in-office; Office location in Hollywood, FL 33009

The A.C. Coy Company is currently seeking candidates for a Full Stack Developer role. This individual will be responsible for using a combination of the latest tools and technologies to build everything a user sees and interacts with on a website and mobile application. Our ideal candidate will have 4+ years of full stack development experience and proficiency with C#, React, and Typescript.

• Designs, develops, tests, operates and maintains products
• Takes ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code in ReactJS, ReactNative and Typescript
• Creates optimal designs, adhering to best practices and considering scalability, reliability and performance of all systems affected
• Maintains accountability and ensures all aspects of the software development life cycle follows compliance and security best practices
• Performs analysis on failures and proposes design and operational changes
• Conducts code reviews to provide guidance and training on best practices and compliance with all standards
• Takes feedback from code reviews and applies changes to meet standards

• 4+ years of experience in a Full Stack environment
• 3+ years of experience implementing ReactJS, C#, and TypeScript
• Proficiency in how to work with and build mobile and desktop applications
• Demonstrated ability to write Microservices and interact with REST, SOAP, or gRPC APIs
• Demonstrated experience writing Unit Tests and practicing Test Driven Development, preferably in Jest or Playwright
• Demonstrated working experience with Git
• Proven understanding of object-oriented and functional design patterns
• Demonstrated experience in client architecture and performance optimization tools in the mobile space
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills as an individual contributor and on a team 

Preferred

• BS degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Any knowledge or experience with online wagering, gaming, or horse racing
