We are looking for a Front End Developer to work on a range of Drupal CMS and React/Next.js web applications projects for midsize to enterprise clients including well-known brands such as WaterAid, The Macallan, Famous Grouse, National Grid and Wave Utilities.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, professional, with experience of working in a team with 3+ years of commercial experience as a Front End specialist working across Drupal primarily with exposure to modern javascript frameworks and design systems like Storybook.
You’ll be working in a dedicated build squad and working remotely - so being a self-starter and highly motivated with an expert level understanding of your disciplines is essential.
The Front End Developer will be responsible for developing key functionality within larger projects or leading smaller projects. Your expertise will be mainly frontend development dealing with Drupal’s theme layer (Twig, Javascript libraries & build tools) and Javascript flavour single-page apps, components or static sites. However, a broader understanding of the end to end stack is desirable to support the wider team in producing appropriate and effective solutions.
Front End Developer responsibilities and duties
Leading the squad by example for coding standards/practice and attention to detail in your own discipline, you will support the Technical Lead in driving and maintaining high standards of technical development, communication, and behaviour across the team.
