Front End Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Front End Developer to join our team and help us build innovative, responsive, and user-friendly web applications. The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge projects using the latest tools and technologies, including React, Redux, Javascript/Typescript, HTML, and CSS. Experience with Azure DevOps deployment and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

This is a full time role with the option of hybrid or fully remote work. While we are happy to provide the flexibility to work from home, we like to keep everyone in roughly the same time-zone.  In light of this the right candidate will be located in the Pacific or Mountain time-zone and must be eligible to work in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of our customer-facing dashboard and internal fleet management tools
• Work closely with the design team and back-end developers to deliver value to our customers
• Create and maintain documentation
• Participate in project planning and development meetings
• Understand the goals for each workflow and identify usability improvements that can be made to enhance the end user's experience

Qualifications and Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a Front-End Developer with a focus on responsive SPA design
• Strong understanding of software development best practices
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with React/Redux
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Post-Secondary Credential in Computer Science or a related field

Nice To Have

• Experience with mobile development using the Qt framework
• Experience writing unit tests for mobile and server applications
