The role will provide the organizational vision and strategy for Artificial Intelligence adoption. The candidate must possess a solid grasp of AI technologies, data analytics, and machine learning concepts, along with program implementation experience. This role reports to the Chief Information Officer.
Location: Greenville, SC
Compensation: $140,000 –$200,000 commensurate with experience. Bonus eligible position.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Development and Implementation of a Comprehensive AI Strategy:
- Identify opportunities for AI integration within our company’s strategic objectives and IT infrastructure to generate investment and/or gain productivity
- Develop a roadmap for AI adoption including predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and process optimization. Roadmap to include resources, timelines, and KPIs.
- Regularly review and update our AI strategy to ensure it remains aligned with the company’s evolving needs and industry advancements
- Identify and manage AI-related risks and opportunities.
- AI Leadership:
- Establish and lead the organization’s AI Governance/council to ensure alignment on AI strategy, user experience and adoption plan
- Function as the organization’s expert on AI for internal and external partners.
- Provide program and project level oversight for all organization-specific AI-related activities, ensuring that work adheres to the vision, strategy and roadmap.
- Continuously monitor and analyze performance and provide insights and recommendations to key stakeholders
- Cascade communications and campaigns ensuring the workforce understands how AI can be used to augment their everyday roles and responsibilities.
- Stay Abreast of the Latest Trends and Technologies in AI.
Preferred Experience & Competencies
- Minimum 10 years of experience working with IT and business groups in the context of complex technology initiatives.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with various AI technologies; including GenAI, ML, Exprt Systems, Deep Learning, RPA or others.
- Minimum 10 years of experience working with data and / business intelligence solutions, business process automation related solutions, Cloud hosting environments and digital technologies focused on UX.
- A comprehensive understanding of risk management, compliance, and Cyber Security.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to leverage data insights to inform enablement strategies, optimize performance, and drive business impact.
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams; strong project management and organizational skills, with the capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
