What We're Looking For
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to enhance our code deployment process by developing improved testing and automation across our entire stack.


Our DevOps team collaborates with our Application teams to identify needs and foster ownership and empowerment throughout the Engineering and Product department.


This role is based in our New York City Office in Soho Manhattan, with an expectation of at least 3 days/week onsite.


What You’ll Work On


  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to build tools and monitoring capabilities that enhance team ownership and infrastructure transparency
  • Implement new configuration management tools, emphasizing automation and infrastructure as code
  • Design, build, and maintain the core infrastructure of our platform, leveraging best practices in containerization and automation to facilitate CI/CD pipelines

Required For the Role


  • BS or MS in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience with AWS cloud services including EC2, RDS, EKS, CloudFront, ECR, S3, IAM, CodeBuild, Lambda, and Route53
  • Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools
  • Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools
  • 3+ years of collaborative software development experience
  • In-depth experience with at least one common programming language
  • Familiarity with our core tech stack: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD

Bonus Points if You Have Experience with Any of the Following


  • Administration of PostgreSQL databases, Elasticsearch, Ruby on Rails applications
  • Administration of Sidekiq, SQS, RabbitMQ, or other queue or Pub/Sub implementations
  • Working with and administering data pipelines for ETL purposes
  • Implementing and working with both internal and external RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with SRE fundamentals, and promoting best practices in Reliability, Observability, and support

Compensation:
To ensure greater transparency, we provide base salary ranges for all US-based job postings. Our ranges are based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by various factors including skills, job-related knowledge, and work experience.


The compensation for this position is $140,000-$165,000 base salary + equity + benefits.
