About the Cybersecurity Engineer Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information assets.
- Evaluate and implement new security technologies, tools, and methodologies.
- Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and protocols to protect the company from cyber threats.
- Stay up to date on emerging threats and cybersecurity trends and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Monitor, triage and remediate alerts from various cybersecurity platforms.
- Configure and maintain security devices, system, and tooling according to best practices.
- Investigate and respond to phishing alert reports and quarantine and release requests.
- Prioritize and oversee remediation of vulnerability, pen test, and security assessment findings.
- Willingness to travel to other sites as needed (~10%).

Cybersecurity Engineer Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information security, computer science, or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of work experience in cybersecurity
- Working knowledge of network architecture, particularly that of Cisco/Meraki and Ubiquiti.
- Familarity with Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) concepts and designs.
- Familiarity with several leading cybersecurity platforms and firewalls such as Crowdstrike, SentinelOne, Proofpoint, Tenable, SumoLogic, Okta, and Zscaler.
- Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements related to cybersecurity.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to deliver complex cybersecurity projects
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset and outstanding problem-solving skills.
