Role and Responsibilities
The DSF is seeking a blockchain developer with knowledge of Ethereum, Hedera, and XRPL. As a blockchain developer at DSF, you will be instrumental in driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge blockchain solutions. You will collaborate with our global team of researchers, developers, and industry experts to advance the capabilities and trustworthiness of blockchain technologies. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, and deploying smart contracts.
- Building and integrating solutions on Hedera and XRPL (XRP Ledger) platforms.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Ensuring the performance, security, and scalability of blockchain applications.
- Participating in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
- Writing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.
- Contributing to open-source projects.
- Staying updated with the latest advancements in blockchain technology and best practices.
Skill requirements
- Proven experience as a Blockchain Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Solidity and smart contract development.
- Demonstrable experience with Hedera and XRPL (XRP Ledger).
- Familiarity with other blockchain platforms and technologies is a plus.
- Solid understanding of cryptography, consensus algorithms, and decentralised applications (dApps).
- Proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, or Go.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Based in London is a plus.
