The AI Developer will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, implementing, and optimizing applications for the organization. The AI Developer will work with internal and external development teams to ensure quality of code, services, and applications. The focus will be current and future enterprise Electronic Health Record (EHR) Platforms, Application Programing Interfaces (API) and web applications (digital). Work is full time and performed remotely, at CNS facilities, and other locations as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Maintains current understanding of emerging technologies aligned to business needs. Actively identifies new areas for learning; regularly creates and takes advantage of learning opportunities. Uses newly gained knowledge and skill on the job.
- Partners with key stakeholders to develop acceptance criteria for features or user stories and ensure acceptance criteria are met.
- Partners with IT leadership to align key strategies and priorities.
- Designs, develops, and implements applications and services that meet acceptance criteria and ensures scalability and maintainability.
- Provides clear communication on approach, status, issues, and risks on a regular basis to manage stakeholder expectations. Uses appropriate interpersonal styles to establish effective relationships with customers and internal partners.
- Provides stable, available, and operationally effective services and solutions. Optimizes code and process to ensure reliable accessibility and UX.
- Responsible and accountable for ensuring alignment to DevOps frameworks and best practices, including code reviews, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Utilizes Azure DevOps for Developer communications, version control, pipelines, and releases. Accountable for ensuring alignment to DevOps frameworks and best practices.
- Must provide HIPPA, HITECH, PCI Compliant Controls for security and privacy
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field. Relevant experience may be substituted for college degree requirement.
- The position requires at least 5 years of prior experience in professional hands-on application development.
- Experience with LLM Augmentation with RAG.
- Familiarity with Generative AI, Machine Learning, ALM, and Service Oriented architecture methodologie
- Demonstrated proficiency with Python, C++, R
- Demonstrated experience with Azure OpenAI, Copilot, Cognitive Services, Dall-E, GPT-4
- Preferred experience with Azure Data Bricks or Fabric, DevOps, and GitHub
- Preferred project management experience with Agile methodologies and database schema
- Preferred experience in a Healthcare setting
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform is a plus
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It’s not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are arrived at each unique case. A reasonable estimate of the current wage is $155,000- $165,000 annually.
