Description

In this highly transparent and critical role, you will be part of the Cellular Platform Software Driver Team and responsible for architecture, design, implementation and quality of embedded platform software drivers. The candidate will be responsible for specifying requirements, writing design documents, architect solutions and implement software for groundbreaking wireless SoCs. In this position the candidate will get an opportunity to solve sophisticated problems, use technology in innovative ways and work with other outstanding engineers across a wide range of teams to make amazing products.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Fundamental knowledge and understanding of embedded processors and real-time OS concepts
  • Solid understanding of embedded system/architecture (core, cache, memory, bus, interrupts, sleep/wake, clock, power, peripherals like UART, SPMI, I2C, PCIe, etc)
  • Experience in developing low-level driver software for embedded platforms
  • Excellent software engineering skills, including driver software design, implementation, validation and debugging
  • Experience and proficiency in C/C++
  • Experience in debugging methodologies and strategies for real-time embedded systems.
  • Experience and familiarity with version control systems like git, Perforce, etc.
  • BS/MS, Computer science, Electrical engineering, or Software engineering
