TRANSCOM IGC - Software Developer

ITP is seeking Software Developers to support a production support project at TRANSCOM. The development team will apply agile development methods for enhancements and to deploy increments with additional features and capabilities. Additionally, the development team will support sustainment activity with fixes to address security vulnerabilities, defects and to ensure that the underlying software is correctly patched and updated. Having experience delivering for a DoD customer is preferred.

• Bachelors degree preferred
• Experience developing using Agile frameworks
• Experience using Kanban to track work assignment and to communicate with project team
• Ability to take user stores, requirement, change request, analyze and recommend development path
• Coding and testing software to ensure quality
• Use of code scanning tools to ensure security and quality of software
• Configuration management experience, both documenting and utilizing to ensure controlled baseline
• Develop interfaces with other systems
• Debugging and root cause analysis
• DEVSECOPS and CI/CD pipelines
• Cloud transition and migration experience
• Text execution
• Use of GitHub to store code
• Use of JIRA and other software development tools used to scan software
• Secret Clearance
