WHO
we’re looking for:




We are
looking for a Sr. Gen AI Developer/Specialist to join our team.                       




Role
and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and fine tune NLP/NLU models, including transformer based models (BERT, GPT for a range of language understanding tasks, language generation, sentiment analysis, entity recognition).
  • Design and implement generative AI models by leveraging LLMs for text generation and understanding.
  • Pre-process and curate text data, including text cleaning, tokenization and data augmentation to prepare it for training NLP/NLU models.
  • Innovate and implement cutting edge algorithms to improve the performance, accuracy and efficiency of the NLP/NLU models.
  • Assess model performance using relevant NLP metrics and optimize models for real world application.
  • Stay updated with latest developments in Generative AI specifically on NLP/NLU research and apply new techniques to enhance our solutions.



Required Experience and Education:
  • 7 years of experience (excluding project work).
  • 2+ years of direct working experience with AI-related work.
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong expertise in NLP/NLU with focus on deep learning models and open source LLMs such as Llama 2, Falcon etc.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with NLP.
  • Hands-on with LLMs (In previous projects) and worked on product development using LLMs.
  • Good understanding and experience using Transformer/Neural Network model.
  • Hands-on experience using Open AI APIs, Open Source LLMs (Llama2, Mistral, Mixtral etc.)
  • Solid understanding of frameworks like Langchain, Haystack and ability to use Agentic - Workflows using those frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience in creating/embedding using MPNET or Ada models is preferred.
  • Experience with ML Ops Model work.
  • (Preferred) Hands-on experience with Vector Database & Graph DB (Pinecone, Milvus, Neo4j).
  • (Preferred) Experience with Speech to Text using Whisper/Google TTS etc.
  • (Preferred) Experience using advanced techniques like HyDE, MMR, LLM reranking for effective semantic search.
  • Experience with Chat, IVR, Banking will be a plus.

Performs
work under time schedules and stress which are normally
periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines,
intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project
management deadlines. May require working additional time
beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
