Key job responsibilities
- Designing, developing, testing, and deploying mission-critical ad tech components within a complex, multi-layered, and distributed environment
- Architecting scalable, fault-tolerant systems to power our ad offerings and deliver exceptional experiences for customers
- Optimizing ad serving and delivery pipelines for low latency and high throughput
- Integrating with various data sources, ad exchanges, and other third-party systems to enable seamless ad monetization
- Implementing advanced analytics, monitoring, and reporting capabilities to provide data-driven insights
- Continuously improving system performance, reliability, and security through rigorous testing and optimization
- Collaborating cross-functionally with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers to identify and solve complex engineering challenges

About the team
Our team is composed of an energetic group of product managers, program managers, software development engineers, quality assurance engineers, and data engineering specialists. - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
