Device, Digital and Alexa Support (D2AS) technology organization is seeking an experienced software development engineer to join the engineering team. The D2AS vision is to create innovative support experiences for customers of Amazon’s devices and digital products, through intelligent self-service solutions and enabling our tech-support organization with tools and technology.

Key job responsibilities
- Design and build software solutions that seamlessly integrate with AWS technologies.
- Collaborate with the team to invent, design, and build stable, high-performing, and scalable software solutions.
- Provide technical guidance, advise on the team's direction, and offer feedback on designs.
- On-call rotation to support the services owned by the Software team.

About the team

We focus on creating an inclusive and collaborative team environment that is fun, supportive, and engaging for new members. We have a broad mix of experience levels and tenures, and we’re building an environment that celebrates knowledge-sharing and mentorship

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
