Job Description: Under limited supervision, the Software Developer will provide program/component design and construction expertise as a technical member of a project team. This role will define scope, objectives and design specifications for individual and closely related programs and system components operative in a networked or web-based environment. The Software Developer will perform detailed specification, construction, testing, debugging, documentation and related performance enhancement and support tasks.A successful candidate will be comfortable working independently with a sense of urgency to solve problems quickly and thoroughly and have a strong desire to acquire additional knowledge and skills. Prioritization and follow-up are very important in this fast-paced, ever-changing, collaborative team environment. Responsibilities:
- Work with Business Analysts and other software developers to design and develop software applications of medium levels of complexity
- Participate in component design and development
- Develop program/component specifications
- Develop resource estimates for technical tasks
- Develop test cases, scenarios, and scripts to confirm programming success
- Code and maintain programs/components
- Prepare and conduct unit tests
- Develop program/component and client documentation as required
- Conduct program/component implementation and integration
- Maintain application programming environment through routine program/component maintenance
- Provide support for applications in production including resolution of production problems and responding to client (user) inquiries
- Provide problem resolution tracking and administration of assigned incidents
Education & Other Minimum Requirements
- Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Web Forms, C#, .NET Framework, MS SQL Server, JavaScript, Object Relational Mapping Framework, Visual Studio, MS Reporting Services, and SVN (or equivalent).
- Experience in documenting system designs/configurations
- Good oral and written communication skills for any audience

- Experience in the financial industry
- Experience with Telerik ASP.NET AJAX or Aspose Total for .NET
