Technical Skills:

The role will provide technical and transformational support to other departments and teams with these skills:

• Expert in one of the development platforms and its allied frameworks

• Expert in designing and integrating solutions components using API’s, connectors, scripts, tools etc

• Expert in containers (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraforms etc) and Cloud (AWS, Azure etc)

• Expert in designing and integrating feedback loops from monitoring tools

• Ability to drive Automation beyond the Span of Control across the enterprise

• Experienced to drive intelligence from ALM tools like ServiceNow, JIRA etc and fill gaps or drive maturity

• Experienced to Architect, Solution, Design and implement DevOps across People, Processes and Tools

• Excellent Negotiation, Communication, Customer interaction Skills


Roles & Responsibilities\: 

• Design and Implement DevOps practices (Continuous Integration, Continuous testing, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Monitoring, Continuous Delivery) with full accountability 

• Design and Implement Cultural Change to adopt DevOps

• Design, Build and Implement end-to-end CI/CD Pipelines that are on-prem, within containers, on Cloud or Serverless

• Design, Develop & Deploy scripts to stitch multiple IT components and Services to curate highly automated pipelines

• Develop & implement Release Engineering practices 

• Own to drive Deployments, Production support, Tech Insertion and environment migration projects 

• Deliver development and deployment of system integration strategies using common tools and methods

• Drive efficiencies around People, Processes and Tools

• Should know DevOps and Agile Assessment frameworks

• Should understand the “Site Reliability Engineering”

• Ability to negotiate and drive collaboration with Team & the stakeholders, both internal and external

• Should live Agility and be flexible to learn, deliver and fill-in



Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.

Software Engineers perform requirements analysis.  They then design, develop or maintain the physical application (components) or the application environment, based on the Software Architecture (models and principles). Activities include coding, integrating, implementing, installing or changing frameworks and standard components, or technical and functional application management. A Software Engineer also develops languages, methods, frameworks and tools, and/or undertakes activities in support of server-based databases in development, test and production environments.


 


Required Skills and Experience:


 


You have mastered several Software Engineering areas, applications or database environments.  You act as a Software Engineering stream leader with technical delivery ownership within a (limited) number of technology areas. You contribute to bids or client proposals based on your technological expertise.  You also act as a team leader with delivery ownership, and guide individuals and groups towards desired outcomes. You actively participate in at least one community and contribute to community discussions.


 


• Qualification\: 7-10 years (3 years min relevant experience in the role) experience, Bachelor’s Degree.

• Certification\: Should have SE Level 1 and seeking level 2.

• Should be proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering, Testing, Data Management, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.
