Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Network Administrator on a temporary (up to 6 months) at our Co-op Refinery Complex in Regina, SK.


Our Infrastructure and Operations team is looking for a problem solver who is comfortable working in complex server environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, and administration of Network and Collaboration Systems, and related components. What you’ll do:



  • Create or update procedures for existing network devices and collaboration systems.

  • Provide support to service desk and application teams for the network and Collaboration Platforms

  • Create and modify patch-management procedures on network and Collaboration platforms. This will include execution of both firmware and software updates and complex changes on existing platforms.

  • Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization to meet service level agreements.

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of the backup and disaster recovery system and procedures.

  • Work as a team to provide 24/7 response to urgent situations regarding the network and collaboration infrastructure.

  • Other duties as required.

The Team:  You will report to the Network Manager on a team that includes one other Sr. Network Administrator. This small but mighty group also works closely with a variety of business units, external vendors, and contractors. Members of the team value a willingness to ask questions and admit mistakes. Who you are:


You are looking for a career in Information Technology and:



  • Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

  • Have a minimum of 6 - 9 years of relevant experience in information technology. Experience in server and storage administration is required.

  • Have experience with Cisco Route Switch, MPLS, WAN Design, Kemp load balancers, Cisco Wireless, Certificate management, Cisco FTD, Cisco ISE, Bomgar, IoT Networks.

  • Have Cisco certifications CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, etc. (considered an asset).

  • A starting wage of $57.65 as per the collective bargaining agreement between FCL and UNIFOR local 594.

  • A working schedule of Monday to Friday with every other Friday off.
