Senior .NET Software Developer

We are looking for a Senior .NET Software Developer to support our client based in Miami, FL.

The Opportunity

Our client, a government agency in South Florida, seeks an experienced Senior Software Developer to drive critical system modernization initiatives aimed at enhancing procurement processes. The role focuses on improving technology systems that support strategic procurement objectives, emphasizing local and small business vendor integration, streamlined operations, and innovative procurement practices.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of procurement and related enterprise software systems.
• Collaborate effectively with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver robust software solutions.
• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software while adhering to established best practices.
• Resolve complex software challenges and optimize existing system performance.
• Utilize modern development methodologies, including Agile frameworks.
• Produce comprehensive documentation detailing system functionality and operational procedures.

Compensation and Term 

This opportunity is for a full-time, contract position with possible extensions and pay commensurate with experience up to $125,000 per year. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.

Qualifications you need

A successful candidate has the following experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC, SQL databases.
• Experience with Azure cloud services, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven expertise in RESTful API development and integration.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies including Blazor, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
