What is it that we do at Colonial Pipeline Company?

Colonial Pipeline is the largest refined products pipeline in the United States, transporting more than 100 million gallons or 2.5 million barrels per day. Colonial transports various grades of gasoline, diesel fuel, home heating oil, jet fuel, and fuels for the U.S. military through a pipeline system. Colonial transports approximately 45 percent of all fuel consumed on the East Coast, providing refined products to more than 50 million Americans.

About the Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst Position

As a Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be responsible for providing detailed analysis and support across multiple critical functions within the Security Office, including data analytics, communications, strategy, procurement, budgets, audit, policy, metrics, and program management. This position will manage the Cyber Third-Party Risk Management program, and work with procurement, internal and external stakeholders, and support staff to ensure contract support and vendors have sufficient cyber security controls in place to minimize risk to Colonial Pipeline. The Sr Cybersecurity Analyst will design, facilitate, document, and create action plans for multiple Incident Tabletops to identify gaps in security and technology incident response, and enable a continual maturation of the program.

What You Get to Do:

  • Manage execution against the Cyber Assessment Plan, ensuring that tests are performed in a timely manner, evidence is appropriately gathered, and documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Manage the Colonial Security Training and Awareness Program, including interaction with corporate training technologies and initiatives.
  • Design, deploy and lead Security data analytics program, to include dashboards, custom reporting, and metrics.
  • Lead and participate in projects to apply advanced data and business analysis skills to Security challenges and opportunities.
  • Work directly with the CISO to develop data driven presentations based and communications for internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership and regulators.
  • Develop and track metrics and key performance indicators for cyber and physical security effectiveness for senior executives and Board members.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of plans and roadmaps for key Security programs and initiatives.
  • Partner with program management to oversee execution, ensure accountability and report progress and issues to leadership.
  • Act as a liaison to stakeholders outside of Security, including Technology, Operations, People, and Legal, to ensure Security is perceived as a trusted partner and enabler of the business while diligently executing our mission.
  • Establish and oversee the execution of key Security Program rhythms, including executive reporting, team meetings, functional reviews, metrics packages and status updates.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field of study from an accredited college or university; will consider a combination of experience and/or education.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Ideally, 5+ years operational experience working within a technology or security organization.
  • Experience in project and/or project management and data analytics/Interpretation.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with limited oversight.
  • Willingness and aptitude to learn the Cyber and Physical Security domains.
  • Customer-focused and results-oriented.
  • Ability to understand oil and gas governing regulatory and legal requirements.
