Sales Development Rep

Cogniac is on a mission to innovate how industrial companies conduct visual inspection tasks. Our software leverages the latest in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to make computer vision easier, faster and more accurate. Our customers include well-known auto makers, rail companies, and federal government agencies.

We are seeking a smart and energetic individual to join our team as a Sales Development Representative. This role works closely with our Enterprise Sales team and is typically the first contact for new customers. You will play a critical part in our sales process by hunting for new leads, qualifying them, and generating interest in our solutions. This is a great opportunity for career growth in sales and offers high earning-potential for top performers. This role will be based in San Jose, CA once we return to the office.

Responsibilities will include:

Act as an ambassador for Cogniac and our cutting-edge computer vision technology

• Research target industries and companies to build outreach lists
• Execute email and call campaigns to make contact with new prospects
• Speak with potential clients to pitch them on Cogniac and qualify their interest
• Secure introductory meetings for our Enterprise Account Executives
• Work closely with our sales team and leadership to continuously improve our sales process

• 2+ years work experience in a customer-facing role
• Comfortable talking about and working with technology
• Great listener and effective communicator
• Desire to learn and grow in a sales career
• Previous sales and/or startup experience is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree require
