The RPA Analyst would work independently to build end-to-end solutions to digitize and automate business processes, improve customer experience, and reduce risk and cost. They would contribute to a library of reusable objects to accelerate future bot development within FIC. The individual would be building relationships with business partners across all lines of business by meeting them; identifying opportunities for automation and developing in BluePrism to support that automation.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Design and develop efficient and well-designed automation solutions using Blue Prism focusing on scalability and extensibility.
  • Develop RPA bots for business processes by creating objects and processes in Blue Prism.
  • Records and communicates defects identified during user acceptance testing.
  • Use templates to track UAT issues.
  • Build and test code while developing interfaces for applications using APIs to ensure business requirements are met, and in alignment with quality standards.
  • Design and develop interfaces for Fidelity applications using APIs in Blue Prism to create RPA processes.
  • Assists in the collection and documentation of solution design requirements.
  • Documents additional parameters for automation.
  • Review workflows developed by other RPA Developers to ensure compliance with internal control/security / audit requirements.
  • Participate and maintain the governance process for Fidelity’s RPA Processes’.
  • Supports production deployments processes and performance testing.
  • Works with deployment team to deploy solutions.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Completion of a Post-Secondary Degree (3-year program)
  • 2+ years of relevant working experience, preferably with an understanding of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) (Blue Prism preferred, other platforms a plus)
  • Experience with OCR tools like ABBYY Vantage, Kofax or similar software.
  • Some understanding of programming (C#, Visual Basic), mapping processes (Visio), SQL and relational databases, with a specific focus on developing Bots
  • Some understanding of API/Web service development and test skills
  • RPA Certification is an asset.
  • Experience with Machine Learning, Text Analytics, Natural Language Processing (NLP) would be a plus.
  • Development experience along with Process engineering background Knowledge of infrastructure/architecture required to support RPA related products is an asset.

The Skills You Bring:

  • Mutual Fund Industry knowledge is an asset.
  • Awareness of standard SDLC processes (e.g., agile, waterfall, etc.) and change control disciplines.
  • Ability to blend business analysis with technical skillset to develop efficient processes.
  • Ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualize it as an automated solution.
  • Good written and oral communications skills, with a particular focus on translating technical concepts into business value terms.
