Contract: Until 11/10/2025


Location: 1700 W. Washington Suite 210, Phoenix, AZ, 85007


Tentative Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (40 Hours/Week).



Closing: 10/18/2024


 



Hybrid with majority remote. We only really do onsite for monthly all-hands meetings and important events like the elections. 2-3 days per month in person while the rest is remote.


 



Position Description:


This position is responsible for assisting Cyber Command with the implementation of projects and strategies that promote and support the statewide cybersecurity program. The position assists the Statewide Information Security and Privacy Office (SISPO) with attaining the statewide information security goals and objectives set by the State CISO. This position coordinates the daily operational activities of various projects that support the long term cybersecurity goals of the Department.

Work Experience Required



  • Manages multiple medium and large-sized projects, including some complex projects, in support of the Statewide Security Program

  • Facilitates the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements

  • Leads planning and implementation of projects

  • Develops methods to monitor project progress and takes corrective action

  • Manages projects based on repeatable standards and practices where possible, but also may require defining new approaches.

  • Resolves or assists in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas.

  • Works cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes to resolve issues

  • Proactively and routinely identifies, mitigates and reports project risks

  • Manages and coordinates project budget and resource allocation.

  • Manages and coordinates project budget and resource allocation.

 



Work Experience Preferred


  • 3-7 years of proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in IT or cybersecurity Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with demonstrated success.


 | Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
 



 



Education/Training Required


Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).


 



Education/Training Preferred



  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PRINCE2, Six Sigma.

  • Agile methodology certifications like PMI-ACP for Agile Certified Practitioner or SAFe® Agilist if the company focuses on Agile methodologies.




Compensation: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour
