In this role, the Manager of Upstate Robotics will oversee a team responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting autonomous technology at Upstate. They will define acceptance criteria for new solutions, organize and assign work to the team, design, build, and test requirements, assess operations, and implement activities. They will also identify risks and opportunities for the program and help develop appropriate responses. Additionally, they will actively participate in project team meetings and promptly communicate any issues to the Director.
Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience dealing with autonomous machines, vehicles, or robots OR an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Prior supervisory experience required. Part 107 certification required by time of appointment or within 1 year of hire.
