APPROVE’s Junior Full Stack Developer will join our high-energy team and collaborate with sales, marketing and development to continuously enhance and implement the APPROVE web application database, functionality, structure and design. We are looking for a talented programmer with at least 0-3 years of experience.  As a Junior Full Stack Developer, you will work closely with our development team to build, test, and maintain web applications and software solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, grow their skills, and gain hands-on experience in both front-end and back-end development.

Here’s what we need you to do:

  • Collaborate with senior developers to design, develop, and maintain web applications and APIs.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks such as jQuery and Vue.js.
  • Create and revise user interfaces using HTML and HTML/JavaScript libraries including Twitter Bootstrap (versions 3 and 4), as well as a basic understanding of templates based on Bootstrap.
  • Develop server-side logic and integrate with front-end elements developed by your team.
  • Create, manage and query mySQL databases.
  • Assist in testing and debugging code to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Support the development team in deploying applications and managing version control.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  • Be a contributor to the establishment and evolution of the APPROVE brand personality, look and feel, and balance the attention needed by each sector and need of APPROVE staff and development plan.
  • Continuously learn and apply new software development techniques, tools, and best practices.
  • Maintain client site implementations.
  • Here are specific skills, technologies and platforms you should be familiar with: Javascript, PHP, Vue.js, Laravel, SQL, Boostrap, Tailwind, CSS, HTML, Linux, AWS
Required Qualifications:
  • 0-3 years of experience
  • Computer science degree preferred, or equivalent work experience required
Compensation:
  • $50,000 to $60,000 annually 
Location:
  • This job is in-office at our location in downtown Wilmington, NC
