About the Team

Mastercard's Information Security teams monitor system security and compliance, develop, deliver, maintain and monitors IT security policies, standards, and best practices. Implement security monitoring procedures, performs security related incident response and investigations. The teams also oversee compliance and the implementation of disaster recovery procedures. Not an engineer? No worries! Our Corporate Security team looks for people with a variety of backgrounds including business, program/project management and analytics in addition to engineering.


Internship Program

Mastercard’s summer internship program provides emerging talent with projects that will enhance skills as well as contribute to the department’s goals and objectives. In this program, you will participate in:

Role Description

As an Information Security Engineer Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the security infrastructure of the organization. You’ll work alongside experienced security professionals to help identify vulnerabilities, monitor for potential threats, and implement security measures.


Qualifications :

- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program majoring in Computer Science or a related field with a graduation date of summer 2026

- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Security, Cybersecurity, Business or a related field

- Exposure to security, including network and internet systems security

- Strong communication skills

- Some experience in technical skills (i.e code development, platform management, sys admin, etc..) is a plus

- Understanding of security services (authentication, vulnerability management, security log monitoring) is a plus
