Front End Developer I Java I Angular I React

Our Client is seeking an experienced Front End Engineer in Java for this 6-12 months Melbourne based opportunity. In this role you will liaise with the customer, understanding the requirements, and come up with technical architecture. Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Develop processes for web-based user interfaces (desktop and mobile)


• Utilise past experience with rapid protyping of application concepts


• Implement testing solutions utilising tools such as Karma, Mocha + Chai, Jasmine, Protractor / WebDriver


• Understanding of strengths and weaknesses of common libraries and when to apply them

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications

• Overall 6-10 years of experience in relevant industry and positions


• Expertise in AngularJS or ReactJS development and at least 2 large implementations on AngularJs or ReactJS (mandatory)


• Expertise in liaising with the customer, understanding the requirements, coming with a technical architecture and leading development for teams of 5 to 10 developers (mandatory)


• Expertise in web technologies such as; NodeJS, JQuery, AngularJS, ReactJS, EmberJS.


• Experience with the development process for web-based user interfaces (desktop & mobile).


• Working knowledge of back-end stacks (e.g. Java, Ruby, SQL & noSQL databases).


• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Webpack, GruntJS, GulpJS, JSPM, BowerJS and NPM


• Experience with implementing testing solutions eg: Karma, Mocha + Chai, Jasmine, Protractor / WebDriver


• Experience working with Git.


• Excellent communicators, technology experts and minimum 3 years of prior onsite experience
