Front End Developer

Digital Waffle is seeking a talented Front-end Developer to support our clients growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about web development and has experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, React.JS, and HTML5 & CSS3.

As a Front-end Developer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring optimal user experience for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain websites and web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product owners, and back-end developers, to ensure optimal user experience for our clients.
• Create and implement innovative designs that meet business objectives and user needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
• Optimise website performance, ensuring fast load times and efficient code.
• Continuously improve the user experience by staying up-to-date with the latest front-end trends and best practices.
• Actively participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to coding standards.

• Strong JavaScript experience, especially whilst working with frameworks such as React.JS.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first development.
• Familiarity with back-end technologies such as PHP and MySQL.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
