We are going after a massive business opportunity where we currently lead technologically and are becoming the industry standard. We need to press our advantage by building a world class sales organization that can sell multiple products lines to multiple buyers.
Currently our sales efforts are entirely founder-led. As a leader on the sales team, you'll help develop and build out our sales organization.
Enterprise sales experience: Has led a high-performing enterprise sales organization, preferably has experience selling to accountants/accounting firms
Lifecycle sales minded: Basis builds deep relationships with customers that we work with across multiple practice areas and multiple products
Company-builder: Excited to lay the groundwork, technically and culturally, as we rapidly scale
Excited to tackle the impossible: The type of sales ramp up we're aiming to do over the next 12 months has almost never been done. You should be excited for the challenge
Office lover: Prefers shouting across a room over a slack message, seeking full-time in-office in NYC
First principles reasoner: Basis is not a normal company, there will be a lot things that have worked in the past that won't work here. We need someone doesn't just know what things have worked before, but can apply those lessons to new situations

In accordance with New York State regulations, the salary range for this position is $100,000β$300,000. This range represents our broad compensation philosophy and covers various responsibility and experience levels. Additionally, all employees are eligible to participate in our equity plan and benefits program. We are committed to meritocratic and competitive compensation.
