Entry Level Control Systems Programmer


We are looking for recent college graduates with a degree in computer programming. You should have experience with C#, Python, JavaScript, HTML5, Lua, or other modern programming languages.


If you have Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming or equivalent experience, this could be the job that you are looking for. We are seeking energetic individuals that would like to expand their computer programing skills and grow a new career as an AV Control Systems Programmer (CSP). We will provide extensive training opportunities for Crestron, Extron, AMX and Q-SYS certifications and accelerate your ability to become a valued CSP and an integral part of our Technical Services team. This entry level position starts at $48,000 and will grow as fast as your abilities and efforts will take you.


Will work with Project and Operation Managers on service and commissioning as well, and as needed work with Sales Engineers on project design.


Duties Could Include:



  • Assisting with Crestron control system programming, implementation, and testing for System Integration client projects.

  • Assisting with performing other programming such as Extron and AMX with proper training if the need arises.

  • Participating in programming code reviews as required.

  • Contributing to design review and code review as required.

  • Assisting with resolution of field code issues.

  • Assisting with technical support to Engineers, Project Managers and Installers.

  • Work closely with Production Manager and Engineering Manager.

  • Work with Sales which includes going on site with Account Managers to survey sites as requested and scheduled through your manager.

  • You may be asked to assist as an Engineering Technician performing system commissioning and working as a service technician on program related service call

  • Other duties as required or assigned by company management.

  • Flexible work balance of home, customer locations, and at AVT offices in Kimberton PA.


Candidate should have at least a bachelor's degree in computer science
